Face, finish and proportion.

01 / Face & patternFace and openings.
Five circular openings establish the main pattern. Between them, recessed triangular pockets add a second layer of detail. The contrast between round apertures and sharp recesses keeps the large surface from looking flat.
02 / On the carWith the bodywork.
The substantial face works as a styling counterpoint to clean, long panels and a restrained exterior. On a show build, it puts more emphasis on wheel position and arch spacing. A three-quarter view is useful here: it shows how the face sits against the body.
03 / Finish & detailFinish and light.
The chrome finish makes the transition between raised surfaces and recessed pockets easy to see. A single dark colour would give the whole face a denser appearance. Compare the finish in open shade as well as direct light before settling on a direction.
