Your information.

What happens when you browse the site, create a car preview, save a wheel specification or use the wheel planner.

Your car photo.

The wheel preview sends your photo to our image-processing provider, OpenAI, when you choose Create preview. We use it to create the wheel, finish and setup image you request. If you turn on Improve background, we also use your chosen setup to place the car in a suitable setting. Otherwise, the surroundings stay as photographed. Your uploaded photo and each result are kept privately for up to 24 hours, then automatically deleted. Use Delete preview to remove them sooner. They are not added to our public gallery. Upload only photos you own or have permission to use, and avoid people or other personal information in the frame. OpenAI processes the photo under its own terms and the settings of the account used for image processing. Deleting a STRAKE preview removes our stored files; it does not remove records held by the provider. Read OpenAI’s privacy policy for details.

Your preview session.

An essential, secure session cookie lets this browser retrieve and delete its previews. It expires after 24 hours. Closing the tab does not delete a preview immediately. Request information is used to limit misuse and manage the preview queue. The tool does not ask for contact or payment details.

Your wheel specification.

The wheel planner uses the information you enter to create a summary in your current browser tab. It does not send those fields to a server or save them in application storage. Copying the specification puts it on your clipboard. Refreshing the page clears the application state; your browser may separately remember form entries or clipboard contents. Please keep contact, payment and other sensitive details out of the notes.

Your cart and saved specifications.

Your cart is stored privately on our server and linked to this browser by an essential secure cookie. It contains your wheel choices, requested quantities and any finish, size, car or delivery-country preferences you add. The cookie and unpaid saved specifications expire after 14 days. We do not ask for contact details, an address or card details here. As you enter car details in the builder, they are sent to our server to check the vehicle-reference library. That check does not save the entered details as a cart update. A matching reference can fill blank mounting fields automatically; your manual entries are kept. Vehicle identity and mounting or setup details are stored with the cart when you add or save the build, and with any later saved specification. Removing a cart item does not change an earlier saved specification. You can delete a saved specification from its status page before a payment session is linked to it. Saving does not send an enquiry or place a paid order.

UK registration lookup.

An approximate country hint from our hosting service helps show UK registration entry to UK visitors. You can change that interface choice; it does not set your delivery country, verify your location or change payment access. STRAKE does not save this country hint in your cart or vehicle record. When you enter a UK registration and choose Find car or Continue, the registration is sent to the existing The Drivers Guild vehicle-identification service, which uses DVSA or DVLA data and its saved references. Available identity details fill the car fields automatically. Review them and complete any missing details before continuing. STRAKE does not put the registration in your cart, saved specification, browser storage, URL or application logs. A pending lookup can be applied for 15 minutes; its vehicle identity and source details can remain in the private session until replaced or the session is cleaned up. The Drivers Guild service uses a registration-derived, keyed cache valid for 24 hours and a vehicle-identity snapshot valid for seven days; expired records are eligible for later cleanup. The snapshot excludes the registration. This lookup does not create a Drivers Guild enquiry. Published vehicle references can fill known body, generation and mounting details. Manual corrections and any extra details you enter remain your own choices. Identifying a car does not verify wheel fitment.

Cookies and tracking.

This website does not add analytics scripts, advertising pixels or marketing cookies. Images, typography, styles and scripts are served by the website. The hosting and security services process ordinary request information to deliver and protect the site.

Links to other websites.

Some editorial pages link to external sources. Those sites have their own privacy policies. External sources and the TwinScroll website credit open only when you choose their links.

Payments and enquiries.

Card payment is not enabled. When available, payment will take place through Stripe’s hosted checkout; this website will not collect card numbers. The separate wheel planner creates notes in your browser for you to keep. Neither saving a specification nor copying planner notes submits an enquiry or reserves wheels.
